Completed ACGME accredited fellowship in Spine surgery. Was the 1st international foreign fellow to be accepted into this program. An extremely well known and one of the oldest fellowship programs in the United States, from the year 1972. This prestigious spine center was started by Dr John Moe, one of the fathers of scoliosis surgery.
The staff included three past Presidents of the Scoliosis Research Society, Dr R. Winter, Dr J. Lonstien and Dr James Ogilvie. Had the privilege to work the under Dr Francis Denis (current Head of Department) and Dr E. Transfeldt (Fellowship Director).

Have been performing primary and revision arthroplasties for the hip, knee and shoulder for the last 5 years .
Using computer navigation for minimal access knee replacement. (Trained in Melbourne, Australia 2006)
Also doing surface replacement and smaller hip prosthesis like the Proxima for younger active arthritics.
*Spine surgery
Cover the entire range of spinal pathologies from cervical to lumbar areas including:
Trauma, degenerative, congenital, tumors and deformity correction with instrumentation.
Minimal access surgery for faster patient recovery.
Trained in Kyphoplasty and vertebroplasty.
PAST CREDITS
Gold medalist in the DNB examinations (1999)–stood 1st among the successful candidates in the country in this national level examination in Orthopedics conducted across India.
Gold medal in Anatomy and Silver medal in Pathology and Microbiology in the undergraduate University examinations.

Teaching Experience
Training fellows in arthroplasty for the last three years with the sponsorship of Depuy (Johnson & Johnson), India, with each Fellow being exclusively assigned for a period of 6 months.
Lecturer in the Department of Orthopedics, LTMG Hospital Mumbai (1999–2000)
Faculty on the National Arthroplasty Course (2004-2008)- Course designed to teach national postgraduate doctors from all over India tips and techniques of arthroplasty.
Faculty on the Bombay Spine Course (2004-2008) – Local body teaching students the art of spinal surgery.
